Lukas Naugle is the founder of Changegoat and a strategic advisor and operating partner to private equity firms, investors, and executive leadership teams. Over the past 15 years, he has supported capital providers and operators through growth, transition, and complexity, with a focus on leadership alignment, strategic clarity, and disciplined execution.

Lukas launched Changegoat in 2010, initially advising a Phoenix based family office and its investment platform. During that period, he supported a network of entrepreneurs and early stage companies, contributing to deal sourcing, customer development, and go to market execution that supported the successful launch of multiple portfolio businesses. This early work established the foundation for his long term advisory practice at the intersection of capital, leadership, and execution.

Since that time, Lukas has delivered more than 5,000 hours of executive and board level advisory support as a strategic advisor and operating partner. His work has included partnering with private investors, family enterprises, venture backed and growth stage companies, and mission driven organizations across a range of ownership structures. He has advised leaders across functions including executive leadership, strategy, communications, and organizational development, often operating as an integrator across these domains during periods of transition.

From its inception, Lukas has worked alongside the founding partners of Weatherford Capital as a strategic advisor and operating advisor across the Weatherford Capital portfolio, with a particular focus on executive leadership, strategic communications, and market strategy. During this period, Weatherford Capital grew to over $1 billion in assets under management.

Lukas brings an operator’s mindset shaped by entrepreneurial experience, with a focus on judgment, alignment, and execution in complex environments. He holds a BA in International Business from Whitworth University and is based in Dallas, Texas.
